Oh Good. When you said Perkins engine I thought you meant an E27N. Nothing wrong with the Perkins P6 but the rest of the tractor was pretty rubbish. The newer shape Majors are a totally different animal. The later Fordsons ( I mean the next model after the E27N ) was fitted with Ford's own engine, hence the confusion.
