When I was on the board of selectmen in my town we had a stumpage theft. The logger had to pay triple what the mill paid him for the logs. Since you have to "self Certify" your firewood origination you should be able to self issue a waiver since it's your land and for your own consumption. You could state on it copy of deed for property where cut and proof of location of residence required. It would work for me if I pulled you over. But you better not have any lights out, and have adequate load securement and mudflaps!!!!
