I think it will. Ford could tell you for sure. You will want to be sure to strip it down to a long block and put on all of your sensors and accessories from the year model it is going back in to so it talks to all the systems correctly. Do you know if it is a over head cam or a push rod engine? The two will not interchange. If it is a over head cam engine you will have to go with a SOHC engine again or a push rod engine again if that what it has.I would be surprised if it were still a push rod engine in that year. Ford can tell you by the VIN number to be sure. Sorry to hear the bad news. Seems they go forever sometimes, or give up early.
