I'm a diehard Ford fan and the 6,0 is not worth the risk. The company I work for has an '05 F450. It starts great has plenty of power, gets decent fuel milage, and is absolutely going to break the company! EVERYTHING under the hood has been replaced at least once and some things multiple times. original engine didn't make 200,000 - Genuine Ford replacement [in 2009] didn't make it 40,000 and the camshaft grenaded. Every piece on it is like buying gold. I think the dealer is breaking it off in the company in a very bad way. No one in the company got a raise in 2010 because of the money required to keep this one truck on the road!! The bossman says Duramaxes from now on.
