In 1981 while in school I bought a 67 Chevy impala with a 283 power glide. It would go 75 MPH in first gear when you shifted into high it felt like a downshift! The car was rusted and dented up. There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard.
