Did anyone here read the articles in Popular Science about Gus Wilson and the Model Garage. I grew up in the 50's and 60's and looked forward every month to a new story. Dad and I would fight over who would get it first. Turns out I actually learned something from them. It helped when at 16, I bought my first car. It never had to go to a mechanic and over the years I have done most of my own repairs. Anyway, Gus Wilson was the main character of the series and part owner and master mechanic of the Model Garage. Every month it was like a who done it. A car would have a problem and Gus would figure it out. I just found a site that has all the stories from the beginning in July 1925 to the end in June of 1969. It makes for great reading.
