Roundup is a killer of non-roundup ready GROWING plants and breaks down to its essential elements in about one week. It's perfectly safe and sensible to plant anything you want in a field that has been sprayed with Roundup. Just don't apply anymore to what you've planted unless it's roundup-ready.
