I just got another email from a so called customer from a classified ad I ran on this website. They go by the name Frank Lampard email address of lampardf35@gmail.com. Has anyone else gotten an email from this same address? I've been thru this type of scam before so I know this is one also just by the wording. They want to send a check for an ungodly amount of money way over the purchase price of the item you're selling then they want you to take out your portion and wire the rest back to them via Western Union. I was asking $150 for a truck engine and they ask me later what my purchase price was and I said $4,000.00 so I'm anxious to see how much they send me. I'll keep you all updated.
Below is the message they recently sent me.
Hello How are you doing..Hope everything is fine..well am really sorry for the delay of the payment,i was out of town but my client has let me know that the check has been issued out which will be delivered by now..So i want to know of you have got the check so that i can forward you the shipping information where the remaining money send to the shipping company in order for the pickup of the item to take place in your location..Hope to read from you.

The young person asking questions received positive feedback and advice from total strangers who "told it like it is" with the care many reserve for their own kids. The advice is timeless... so although it isn't necessarily antique tractor related, it will be prominently displayed in our archives to honor those who have the courage to ask and those who have the courage to respond in an honest, positive manner.
