He's probably talking about the PTO over-riding coupler. It's like a rachet wrench that alows the PTO to freewheel one direction. This can keep a bush-hog or baler or whatever from pushing you into a tree or fence when you try to stop.

: Need a little info, a guy was telling me about this gizmo you could put on the pto shaft to turn it to live power?? Wouldn't that make a cracker jack rig? When I quized him about it he didn't have any answers. Can anyone highlight this subject? I'm sure it can't be live, so how does it work? Or did it work? Thanks for the help, Wesley
