In a previous post I said that I had owned many tractors over the last 43 years. Here are a couple. I still have the 53 Ferguson TO30, but it bugs me that it isn’t the one that dad and mom bought new. I still have the extra key (still in the dealers little envelope), and the bill of sale, and a couple wrenches that came with it. I bought the 53 in 83 and am the 2nd owner. It is a good tight little tractor. The 1130 is a 72 model I bought in 78. Sold it in 83 when farm prices were so low. I got disgusted and quit farming for a couple years. The last one is of my g-grandpa and family with his tractor (a yoke of oxen) working the farm in about 1900. My grandma is the baby in the picture NE Ark, in the swamps. I'm glad that I didn't have cut the timber off the land, and chop and burn out the stumps before could farm with oxen!
