Well said Lou, People like Aurora think that the government doles out these rights to people, the ammendments to the constitution were put there to keep government from encroaching on GOD given rights. He needs to read the framers of the constitution's words. He probably believes that the speech of the first is written in stone but wants to reject the words of the second . Many times the Supreme Court has stated the phrase "the right of the PEOPLE to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed" means the common citizen. The Penna. constitution is even more concise, It states that the right to keep and bear arms in defense of their person shall not be questioned. The right to keep and bear arms was never about hunting, it was always about protecting yourself and guarding the nation--- There is much more to be said about this subject but I don't want to see it poofed----Just want to add that it is a proven fact that when guns are more visible--crime goes down. mEl
