common problem on those trucks, there may or may not be a cover under the dash on the passenger side, is so remove the 7mm screws and lower the cover, you will see the harness connected to the blower motor, the harness connects to the resistor, remove the other harness from the resistor/relay and inspect the terminals in the connector, if they seem ok or are just alittle corroded clean them up really well and tweak them slightly to ensure a good connection, remove the 2 screws from the resistor and inspect the resistor itself, usually it is rusted or burnt, replace the resistor/relay assembly, i have used both the napa ones and the acdelco ones from the dealer seems to be no difference and you will save some money at napa, if you find the terminals in the connector to be burnt or melted you can get a pigtail with that connector from napa for about an 1/8th the price of the dealer at napa as well. just cut and solder the new one on nice and clean, the whole thing sound more complicated that it really is
