I've gotta laugh. Not at you,but this reminds me of a call that they got on Car Talk one time. Some guy called and wanted to know how to keep his goats off of his girlfriends car when she was visiting him. Wanted to know if it would hurt anything if he hooked an electric fencer up directly to the car so if they walked up and touched it before they jumped up,it would shock them. He was concerned about hurting the electronics in the car. Oh boy that was a funny call. They finally told him to just put an electric fence AROUND the car.
