A Case 580C should be 12 volts. It would be made some time in the 70s or later. I have a friend that has a 580B which is older then the C and his is 12 volts. Takes a big battery to make it run and this time of year it has to be plugged in for a few hours to get it to start. But now the question why was it parked years ago. It could well be one piece of scarp iron or something good. No oil in the engine is not good either. If I where you I would ask a lot of question because it could be a big money pit
