A 580C is an integral loader backhoe, so it's highly unlikely it has quick couplers for the backhoe. With the hoe off, you'll more than likely have to connect some hoses together(so the pump doesn't dead head)and/or put solid caps on the hose couplings. It would be 12 volt with probably 1 battery. I agree with the post about asking a lot of questions, especially why the hoe was removed and why it sat for so long. There could be major problems with it which would require a fortune to fix. I'd proceed with caution. Getting the engine going could be the least of your problems. Dave
