The engines for a big truck are different internally from the car and pickup ones.I dont think pistons or crank or cam will interchange but the bolt pattern might be the same. The Flywheel might be different I cant remember. It seems like the block for big trucks is taller. It might be like a police interceptor block, maybe.I think the heads will work, pushrods probably wont Something about the front of the engine might be different. The way it mounts in a big truck might be different. 330 was a truck engine, then 361 and 391 were truck engines.I havent worked on a 330 but no parts will interchange between a 361 and 391 except the heads.Cranks and pistons are different.Probably nothing will work on a 330. A 360 or a 390 or 352 were used in cars and pickups and station wagons.390 is the best of those and probably would bolt to the transmission. You would have to ask Ford whether the flywheel would work or not.Maybe if you use the one that comes on the 390,and then you would need to use the 390 bellhousing which might or might not bolt to the transmission.Im thinking it will work.

The year was about 1967 and my father found a good used Ford 601 tractor to use on the farm instead of "Bob", our old mule. Now my grandfather had had this mule since the mid 40's and he was getting some age on him. S
