Thanks everyone for the good wishes and the suggestions I enjoy what everyone has to say. I will include some pictures as we begin moving and doing a few improvements. At the moment I have misplaced my camera...great timing. I have been in this game awhile now and we have a mid sized operation. I too am in the boat that this is a buyers market, the fixed interest rates we got are extremely favorable. Yes we went into debt, but I am starting from scratch, so that is the only way this is possible, I could have waited to hobby farm when I retired, but this is the life I want to lead and if I start now I can accomplish my goals with a little sweat and hard work...that is the American Dream. Today's Featured Article - Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for £200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard. From the engine number, it was found that this Major was produced late 1946. It was almost complete but had various parts that would definitely need replacing.
