its not the heat pump...the electric heat strips are whats killing you...heat pumps aint worth a flip under 40* i've had 1 since '89...put in a small propane space heater 4 years ago and my electric bill is usually around $50.during the winter...thats hot water,well,security lite,fridge and freezer.
