depends on how big it is an how much noise you want. mine is a 4 cylinder 2 stage an a 120gal tank, its sits in the very back corner of the shop then have 1 1/2 inch hard pipe ran the entire lenght of the shop with outlets every 10 ft, with drain drops at several entervals along the lenght of the pipe. the start of the pipe it is at a slight decline to the end so any moisture in the pipe will drain into the drops that have petcocks on them. just my 2 cents johndeeregene
