Dan, Not sure what to say to expect, but if I found a good straight hood I would pay a few hundred for it, depends on your resistance to pain, I guess. A hood patch is available for those hoods that have been cut to change mufflers and with a little body work by you or an auto body shop that may be a cheaper way to go and you get to save your hood. Maybe someone will write that has had to buy a good one..hope this helps, LA
