They're a good solid reliable tractor for the most part if you do some basic maintenance on them... They're also not very plesant to work on if equipped with a cab and loader... but that's perhaps a secondary concern. You'll probably find it heavy and underpowered with that setup as well but you pick your poison. They are quite tough... That said, of that vintage, at this point in time... if it has a loader... you check everything on them from front axle, hydraulics, brakes, clutch, dual power, transmission shifting and so on. There could be any number of problems, minor or major.
