Painters tape, blue 3M kind, works well, 1 wrap to hold a split, also good to work in some lotion on the tips, and or leave the upper layer of the dead skin on the crack, seems to protect it a little, from spitting more, I get em on the corners of my thumbs, day like today dried em out but good, 1st the lotion at night, sometimes a rubber or similar glove that does not breath, helps during the day.
