We have two blowers and they got alot of use this week. They ran from wednesday morning untill this afternoon.
The blue two auger shorter one is a 30 year old 8 1/2 foot Lucknow. Very good blower, takes 120 horse power to run it to the max. Can buy something like this for 1 grand on a farm sale, NORMALLY.
This is something a little different. Made by Fair mfg. Has a 250 hp gearbox is 8 foot wide with two 4 foot fans and it is amazing what it will do even compared to the other one. Cost, in excess of 10 grand new. This week it was worth every penny! If it werent for these blowers we would still be digging and have piles everywhere. My advice would be purchase the biggest best blower your tractor will handle and you will be happy. bill
