These engines had lots of problems. Intake gaskets leaking, cracked heads, and head gaskets are all possibilities. If you have coolant in the oil and have been running it that way, you could have washed out crank bearings. Over the years, I have seen a number of times where gaskets were replaced and a short time later the rod bearings went. These engines aren't the easiest to work on either. Hope this helps,
