Do you understand how an electronic scale works? There are three weight bars on the mixer. Each wheel spindle is a bar and the hitch is one. These are a bar with a wire attached down the side of them. The bar bends with weight and the wire measures how much it bends. The monitor or scale box takes those reading and tells you weight. Also the scale will not read correctly if not hooked up to a draw bar hitch. If you try to weight with it on the jack it will read wrong because the hitch bar would not have a load on it. The scale you have will do several things. You can set it to just weight what you put in and read down as you empty. You can also put in a weight and it will count down to zero and make an alarm go off at zero. The alarm can be a buzzer or a light. You can program batches and a bunch of other stuff. When you get the model number I can go into more detail.
