Hey folks,
after winter is about passed, it's time to put sides back on my cab :roll:
I don't like the way the sides fasten because they are somewhat universal and don't look the best and collect dirt and mud.
Need opinions:
option 1: strap the sides I have back in place and live with it.
2: Make a frame to stretch the original sides to and put them in place.
3. Make the sides out of 3/4" plywood, then cut a big opening and cover it with plexiglass.
Have the plywood on hand. Also have the original sides but one "window is shot and the other you can't see through.
My idea is the plywood cut to match the fenders with hooks for the top and a couple angle brackets on the fenders with wingnuts or hood pin type fasteners. for easy removal and just paint it to match the canvas on the roof.
Here's what I have to work with....
Right now, I have just the top and windshield. If I don't get sides back on so the dogs can go with me, they're gonna disown me.....
