Not really tractor related, but thought I'd share what my younger (13yo) daughter wrote this evening.
The squirrel takes the acorn, It takes it far away, It finds a soft spot in the earth, And there it places it, Under the leaves, Where in the spring there shall be A new birth.
As the years pass by, no one notices As the tree grows in every year. But when fifty years have passed The tree is great and large, And a noise makes the silent wood fear. An axe chopping trees, one tree at a time. And so after some days, The woodsmen get to that very tree And start chopping it, too.
The wood is used for a barn, But after years and years, The old barn wood is used for a crib, A new birth.
And all because of the seed that that Little squirrel planted there in the earth.
I thought it was pretty good, so I wanted to share it. Thanks for you time.
