PJH. I'm another fellow that misses John's post. I've read almost all of his civil reply's, and I have read where he can give back hard reply's as he gets.There is no question John is super intelligent in more ways then one. When he gives his reply's, they come with self knowledge And or manual technical data. I for one, would love to have his knowledge so life would be more pleasant and like John, HELPFUL TO OTHERS WHO NEED IT.I found his post to be perfectly frank,TRUTHFUL and kind.Don't know why he is absent here, but I can tell ya LOU & VICTOR misses his post. Today's Featured Article - 12-Volt Conversions for 4-Cylinder Ford 2000 & 4000 Tractors - by Tommy Duvall. After two summers of having to park my old 1964 model 4000 gas 4 cyl. on a hill just in case the 6 volt system, for whatever reason, would not crank her, I decided to try the 12 volt conversion. After some research of convert or not, I decided to go ahead, the main reason being that this tractor was a working tractor, not a show tractor (yet).
