Never dealt with the DOT have you... or mabey even guberment officials in general. I'll argue a lot of things but when it comes down to argueing with a man with a ticket pad over petty fines... it's just not worth it. Being right will cost you far more money than letting him think he's right. Take the Buckleys and move on. Going to court to fight something, even if you're proven right will cost you more in lost time than most summary offence tickets will ever cost you. Then you just learn how to deal with these people so that they don't hassle you...
