Thanks to all of you. So far I haven't done anything on the hood. I straighened the grill and welded or riveted any loose places and painted it. The nose cone got a coat of paint but will have to be relaced at some point cause it is bent up extremely bad. The bottom plate below the grill is also too bad to look good. The grill turned out good enough for me. The hood is indecent shape other than one place where a spot weld came loose and the previous owner took a stickwelder to it. I will have to do alot of work to make it look good so not sure if I will do that or replace it. For the winter, I'm just trying to make it more presentable than it is now. LOL just the naked gas tank and radiator now. I had a lawn mower gas tank bungie corded next to the battery for the first snow removal. Sure it looked very hick but I got my snow cleared so I was happy! For the second round I had the original tank back on with a coat of black enamel and a new sparkling sediment bowl. Was up town then LOL
