The seal between those pumps usually does not just leak a little. Remember he is selling you a well known lemon, of coarse it is just a "little" leak. If it is the seal between the pumps when it totally fails it will pump all of the transmission oil into the rear end. If you don"t catch it soon enough it will burn the power shift clutch packs.
It seems that you really want this tractor. So buy it and try to get some type of recourse on the seller if it is a more major problem. You could very easily have a multi thousand dollar repair on this tractor. I just called a buddy that works at the local Agco dealership that was AC. Even he said walk away. He said it was not hard to spend 10 grand on these powershifts anymore. He says that they sell any problem 7000 series to the bone yard. They can"t afford to fix them.
