Actually, I said "like mineral spirits" because I meant "like mineral spirits". I think that mineral spirits will remove the glue, but not sure. I'm pretty sure that acetone, which we used widely when building fiber glass boats will not, although there is a great many things that acetone will disolve, I don't think glue is one of them. We never kept mineral spirits around in the boat factory, but we did have something, an oil that I do not know how to spell, but was spelled to sound like "talley oil" which also cleaned, glues I think, but don't recall. However, since I didn't know how to spell it and can't find it using Google to ask me "Did you mean...?", I simply said "like mineral spirits".
