they had pto issues but it had nothing to do with twisting any shaft. nothing to do with twisting at all. the issues were shearing a woodruff key in the early ones & idler bearing failure due to a lack of lube on the later ones, & the same poor lube design was used on the 80/820. splash into a reservoir. They just hardened the idler shaft that the bearing rides on, at the same time they eliminated the woodruff key, these issues were only on 50' and earlier ones. the shaft out the back is the same diameter as the 80/820. rumors & passed-on heresay are really something of awe to me.

There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard.
