My hometown area supported the thought of the Tractorcade but only went as far as having a parade through our tiny town with some driving on to the county seat 30 miles away.
I drove locally only.
Most if not all from our area owned livestock which makes it difficult to participate in such events. Also the thought of tire abrasion on the asphalt quickly wearing out tires was far from thrilling.
Great idea, but farmers by nature are very independent fellows which generally means they are willing to stand on their own.
