Here, if you have an appointment for say 8am, you will be lucky if they show up the same day. Plumbers, a/c guys, telephone co, it doesn't matter. You get mad and call someone else and it's the same story. Everyone just tells you what you want to hear, but never intend on doing it. A culture of lying to each other that is the norm. "I'll be there at 9am tomorrow morning" actually means " I'll be there in a couple of days, maybe..."
