We have a place in the CA foothills about 1600 ft. We do not get snow every year but when we do it is usually Feb or March. We had about 2" last weekend. The weather forcast is for snow to 500 ft this weekend.
By the time I got out to take pictures it was gone. Maybe this week I can get some.
Two years ago it snowed on Valentines Day. We were rushing a dog to the vet and it was near blizzard conditions. We had to go 7 miles out to the plowed highway. When we returned a few hours later the sun was out and the snow was gone. It is nice to have the beauty and none of the aftermath
