In order to keep the battery for my dump trailer charged while driving I tapped into my parking light circuit.Havent had any any problems with this set-up in the ten years i've been using it.The only downside is you have to have the headlights or parking lights on other wise the battery you are trying to keep charged will power your parking lights. There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard.
