Mr. Thinker, I own a John Deere 4020 with a gas engine and a roll-o-matic narrow front end. Is this a rare set-up and how many were equipt like mine? I have not seen many with these options. P.A., Indianna Deere made just under 8,000 gas row crops. The type of front-end is irrelevent because it could have been changed at any point, from the time it left the factory to yesterday, by a chimp who knows how to operate a jack and owns a few wrenches.MT

There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard.
