The Middle East is not going to control anything, for starters they don't have all the oil and what oil they do have is all they have. Not one of the countrys in question can even begin to fantasize about feeding themselves and their people, if you think there is some protesting going on at the present time wait until their bellies are bumping their backbones. The US and Canada can easily increase oil and gas production to meet our own needs and feed ourselves and our allies. Worst case scenario, we walk a few miles in the dark, they eat sand sandwiches.
