I have no mechanics or the like in my family. We are in the HVAC business...Im 30 years old and have taught myself everything I know. I have restored a couple farmall cubs myself but do not have the time, nor feel comfortable working on a select-o-speed tractor that I know little about. If it comes down to it, I ordered the manual and will pick at the tractor this summer. I was only hoping that someone out there may WANT to work on it and could use the money. I have no problem paying someone for their knowledge, time, and experience, most all of us are good at what we do for a living and Im slowly learning that sometimes (more often than not it seems) it may be easier and less stressful to let an expert handle some things...
