I got both a sand blaster hung on a beam in the barn that the air compressor does, but also still got a couple of those old Black And Decker spark plug cleaners from the late '70's...one 12 volt, and one converted to 120 volts got at a flea market. 15 secs, turn 45 degrees, and keep doing it until hit 360 degrees in a total of 60 seconds. Works great.
I figure many or most don't have air compressors, and those that do don't have the sand blaster. And I figure that the spark plug companies must have gotten together and paid Black And Decker to take theirs off of the market because everyone had access to 12 volts, and they worked great. Mine still do.
