Well, you guys got me worried about it so I called the clinic. They didn't get half as excieted as many of you here did. They put me in touch with the eye clinic and I spoke to the nurse there. She asked me a whole lot of questions about what happened and my symptoms then said I was probably ok at this point. She said I woulda, shoulda, coulda come in yesterday but since I didn't and my eye isn't too bad this AM I was probably ok. She said I could come in if I wished... I asked her what she would do and she said at this point just keep an eye on it (so to speak) and call back if it doesn't improve rather quickly - like most of the symptoms gone by this afternoon. Maybe in my original post I shouldn't have used the word deflicted - too strong a term. Mostly it's just a little sore and pink a little now. I can see fine. I think I'll be ok. Thanks to all for your concern. When I posted I expected to catch a lot of ribbing for being so dumb and not the kindness. This is a great board. You all be careful around those thinners and cleaners though. This ordeal wasn't much fun. Jerry
