I bought this Super Dexta last spring. 1964 if I remember right. There haven't been any parts I've needed yet and been unable to find. Did a clutch(was a loader tractor once) and head gasket and a lot of little stuff. The only thing I've really done with mine is run a 5' Bush hog, but it handles it well. Mine does have live PTO, although I believe not all do.
The engine is basically a Perkins. My understanding is that Ford made the castings and sent them to Perkins. Perkins machined and assembled them. I could be wrong though, it happens at least once a day.
Paid $900 for this one. I didn't know much about them, but I figured the rear tires were worth more than half the purchase price and I couldn't buy a running 9,2,8n for that. It did run and drive.
