Had that same thing happen with laquer thinner! I weld alot, so I treated it like welders eye. It was irritated, but kept rinsing it out, and kept a warm washcloth on it to keep the eye moist. I took some nyquill and went to sleep. Well I slept as much as I could,, lol. The more I slept, the better my eye felt. Took about 3 days to really feel better.
