Back when I was a kid, I started messing with the engine on the 1966 Skidoo that Dad had stored in the basement. It hadn't been run in at least 10 years, and the gas had turned to varnish.
Stunk up the whole house, and boy were the folks ticked.
Dad rebuilt the carburetor, got it running. We rode it once, then parked it back in the basement where it's been sitting ever since.
