Cost of repair will vary depending on where you get it fixed and whether or not it has a cab. The machine is worth between 7 - 13K, depending on condition. The early powershifts are fairly simple, but repairing them may be difficult if the parts are a problem. I'd check with AGCO first before you buy and ask for a ballpark cost... however be prepared to pay a bunch. The 10k figure is a bit on the high side but certainly not out of the realm of the possibility...and some AGCO dealers just don't want to mess with the old AC iron..
