Anybody in Michigan looking for a good 6 year old registered Angus bull? I nodded when I shouldn't have at the tested bull sale. I went to buy one, bought the tenth one out out of 74. Couldn't load til the sale was over,so I sat right there. Nodded on a few just to help the auctioneer out when they got stuck. By the 45th one,I don't know if some young thing bent over or what, nobody was paying any attention when the only ChiAngus on the sale came out. Nothing had been selling under $2500 or so,most were up in the 3 and 4000 range. They got stuck at $2000 on this one, couldn't get $2,250. I was sitting right on the end of the bleachers at eye level with the ringman. He asked me for 21,so I nodded, figured for sure the other bidder would go again, but he didn't. So....I suppose,I might as well sell this 6 year old New Frontier. Sure hate to beef him,he's a heck of a nice bull.
