While waiting for the rain to stop, I got to thinking about the farm and the older male family members Looking at the 'TIN TYPE' of my great great grand father Civil war C.S.A.Then a older pict of him with the wife. (note the mustaches)older men sported. Then the pic of my father -badge for factory. old autos and then pic of me on the pony. The guy use to come around and take the pictures of kids. Other pic of me Sitting on the table in navy garb. It looks just like my son did at that age. Other pic is of the navy ship my dad was on (he was a cook)that got hit with torpedo's .I was wondering if any of you guys have pictures that represent the male's in your family. Tin type pictures etc. Dad even sent post cards home that showed the night scenery when held up to the light. Nice for the kids to see just how it was Way back When. Hope I'm not boring you.Just wondered about generation pictures ,if you kept em so the younger ones have some idea who you were talking about. Warmest regards LOU.
