Hard to say at this point. As stated before a lot of Deere dealers here already have at least Kuhn and/or Knight here. Deere was never serious about feed mixers when they made them and now are out of it. Kuhn makes a fair number of hay tools that Deere does not offer. So up to this point there has been little conflict. The local Deere dealer said that if they put something on the yard for stock that competes with a Deere product that the TM will insist they put that Deere product in the yard to offset. The ball is in Kuhn/Krause's court at this point. If K/K decides they want to put everything together into one franchise it will create problems for sure. I can't imagine the JD TM's would be happy to see Krause products on Deere dealer lots as Deere has an extensive tillage/seeding lineup of its own. The only salvation would be is it might bring in Krause people that use other color tractors, combines, and such for the Deere dealer people to try to convert them. The dealer that has Krause now here also has Claas among other lines. I can't imagine the Claas rep would be happy to see all the Kuhn/Knight stuff rolling in onto that lot. Claas with its self-propelled forage harvesters is very big business for this dealer more so than Krause. The problems putting everything together creates in terms of having to abandon previously good selling dealers for unknowns tells me it might be better to operate just as everything was prior to this acquisition. But you never know.
