I have had M,MT&40 JD. Never had any hyd problem, except leaking. Are you sure it is full of oil, Did somebody put 80W gear oil in it. Un hook your lift arms from each other, be sure pins are retracted in lift arms. There is two complete circuits in the hyd system. One of them will surely work if the pump is turning. Even if it is worn out, it should lift up a empty. Is it possible that you ran it with the pins in the hitch with the levers in the raised position and burned the pump up? If you did there will be cuttings all through the hyd system,bad deal. There will be pumps for sale on another part of this forum.
